As someone who grew up in the building service industry, I see many unconquered challenges and out of date techniques that have to be changed if we expect growth. My past experiences have given me insight into over 30+ janitorial companies and all of them have operated differently. All of them excelled in different areas. Yet, there were common failures among them. I am here to change those failures and push the industry to new heights.
Growing up in the building service industry, I learned a lot of skills and ideas that others were unaware of or neglected. At age seven, I learned what chemicals to use and where to use them. At age ten, I learned what goes on in buildings after dark and what it takes to maintain one – a few years later I tamed my first floor machine.

“To give real service you must add something which cannot be measured with money and that is sincerity and integrity."-Don Alden Adams
“Customers remember the service a lot longer than they remember the price."-Lauren Freedman
At the time I didn’t think much of it. In my later years I found that growing up within this industry taught me a lot of valuable lessons, like the value of a dollar and hard work. I never thought of myself as a hard worker because I thought that was what everyone did. I knew nothing else.
In the end I knew just how hard certain aspects were. Today, I still find myself drawn to the opportunities that the building service industry offers.
I enjoy what I do because I embrace change – and I strongly believe this industry is in need of updating.
